Hey everyone!
Sadly, we have made the decision to close the Official Hypixel Wiki. As of the release of this thread, any links to the wiki in-game have been removed, and pages will soon no longer be available to be browsed. There are multiple reasons why this is the best move for us and the community, which I will go over.
► Why we're doing this
We're quite happy that we've given it a shot, but the wiki is turning out to be a lot of work for us in ways we honestly didn't expect, and running a team specifically to keep it alive, accurate and well maintained is not something that's worth slowing down development in any way for.
Ultimately it's important to mention that the community continued to give it their own shot too, making this an easy decision for us to make, as we know players aren't left without good resources to get Hypixel SkyBlock information. We believe it is best to instead take a step back, but also provide the community with help when requested.
► Community Resources
We are not going to endorse any community websites officially, nor do we have plans to link them in-game. The community's resources have always stood on their own, and we're excited to see them keep growing independently. We do not want to moderate or control them, but we'd definitely encourage you to check them out. A quick search will point you in the right direction.
Working on this wiki has helped us learn more about our game ourselves, even after years of having quite literally made it. We hope the community will continue to do an amazing job of maintaining resources for Hypixel SkyBlock players.
NOTE - Up to now, the official wiki has been the only place to browse officially organized previews for Barn Skins. We are exploring other options to allow barn skins to be previewed as soon as possible!
